Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and singer. Lucy Liu is a smart and charming actress. There are many Asian actors had dreams of becoming famous in Hollywood. Through a succession of appearances in some popular series she achieved fame after joining the cast in the series legal comedy Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. The fame gained by her was translated to roles on the big screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and other films. For Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an excellent performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren. In the same period she also played key parts in other failed box office films including Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she was able to start voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia failed to produce the desired results. Southland's critically acclaimed police series, Southland and a recurring character helped Liu to regain her status as an actress. Liu is very cautious in choosing her roles so it doesn't result in her being the victim of a hugely intensely competitive field. She's accepted her Chinese background, but doesn't let it hinder her creative abilities.
