She is best known for her performances as Jane Kerkovich Williams in ABC's comedy show Happy Endings, Denise Mahoney and Hannah Wyland on Quantico. She starred in the Fox comedy Pivoting in 2022. She was recently as a supporting character on the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. In 2003 she was on tour in France playing a soldier in an all-female version King Lear. Her solo sketch show, The Patriots, premiered in New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5 the 5th of November, 2005. The show won her the Breakout Performer Award from HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, Aspen, Colorado. March 2006. From December 2007 through June 2013, Coupe was engaged to Randall Whittinghill, an actor instructor and puppeteer. She announced her engagement on Instagram on November 27, 2014. They were in vacation in New Zealand when they got married on December 24, 2014. They filed for divorce on the 24th of December, 2014. From April 2011 through May 2013, Coupe starred on the ABC ensemble comedy show Happy Endings alongside Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Casey Wilson. Despite receiving critical acclaim as well as a cult following, the show was cancelled by ABC after concluding its third season on May 3 2013. After the show's cancellation, she was a regular character in the final season of House of Lies and starred with Jay Harrington in the USA Network comedy series Benched that premiered on October 28, 2014. Later, she appeared in the ABC thriller Quantico in the role of FBI agent Hannah Wyland.
